I think I saw a ghost. . .

It has been one of those afternoons. You know, one of those days you are praying that bed time will come really soon. Yesterday wasn't a good day, but it looked great compared to this afternoon.

We come home from Granny's house, had a little quiet time and play time, and went to the grocery store. Hank started screaming as soon as we went in the store. He didn't stop until we were checking out. I tried to go as fast as possible. As usual, they did not have everything on Granny's list . . .ughhhhhh! In the meantime, Hank unscrewed the lid off of a bottle of dishwashing liquid and poured it all over the floor and our shopping cart. I deal with that, pay, load up the car, and run over to Family Dollar to get what Bi-Lo did not have.

We get back to the car, Hank was screaming again, and I looked down and my black pants have orange spots on them. I smell bleach in the car. I guess the bathroom cleaner spilled. Not sure if Charlie opened it or the bottle just wasn't sealed all the way. In all the frustration, Charlie says, "Mommy, I was a good boy. Hank not." I just smiled.

Finally home, I unloaded the groceries, got Hank out of a water puddle in the yard, washed the bleach smell off of the groceries, put the cap back on the air valve on the tire of the car (Charlie went to get his cup out of the car, and I caught him being a mechanic on his way back,) fed Charlie and Hank supper, and spilled a FULL container of flour on the floor which Hank LOVED! Marshall gets home just in time to help clean up.
