Vacation Bible School was so much fun tonight! We played with beanbags during recreation. We had pizza for supper around our campfire in our room that Marshall made. Kensington and Charlie gathered up rocks in the yard today and washed them to help build the fire. Marshall put Christmas lights in the bottom with a fan and red, orange, and yellow cello. As soon as Kensington saw it, she said, "Where are the marshmallows? We need marshmallows." Charlie especially enjoyed the sleeping bags, and said, "I going to sleep here tonight."
The theme of VBS is Camp E.D.G.E. After recreation and supper, we played fishing in our pond, made rivers with crepe paper, painted rocks, and put stickers on boxes. The rocks were just like what they used to write God's word on in the old days. The box was our Ark of the Covenant. They carried the rocks in it (we put our rocks inside our boxes.) Joshua and God's people crossed the river when God divided it. We had so much fun. We also went to arts and crafts and made necklaces.

The fishing pond was a HUGE hit. We had to put up all of the fish, fishing poles, and net to get anything else done.

Ava's favorite thing was painting.
Alex said, "I got a big fish."
Jack only wanted to fish. It was his favorite thing.
Kensington loved it all. She came home with paint all over her face.
