A is for Acorn

We are finishing up working on the letter "A" this week. Today we drew an ambulance, alligator, acorn, and apple on the chalkboard. We printed out a letter A on the computer and then we went for a ride. It is freezing cold outside, 33 degrees, so we bundled up really well in sweaters, hats, mittens, and coats and went to the square. Charlie and I picked up acorns. We filled up the bag on Hank's stroller. We visited with friends and went for a walk. When we got home, Charlie got the glue and got to work. He glued his acorns to his letter "A." After such a busy morning, Charlie was ready for his afternoon nap.
I found acorns.

"Look, Hank, an acorn."

"Hank, A is for acorn. See, Hank, see."
