"Mitzi, I listen to your heart."

C is for curious.
This week we were going to work on the letter C, but we had so much excitement that we are going to have to try again next week. Mam-ma came to visit on Sunday and Monday. She brought Charlie and Hank basketball goals. Mam-ma took Charlie to the car to help her unload, and when he saw it, he said, " You bought MY basketball goal." Mam-ma didn't know that Charlie had been shopping with Gaga for a basketball goal for about three months. Every time Gaga took Charlie to the store, he picked out baseball or golf stuff. Charlie was so happy that he could hardly sleep. He took his basketball to bed with him and kept saying, " I have a basketball." Finally, Mamma put the ball on its own pillow, and Charlie went to sleep around midnight. When he woke up the next morning and came downstairs, he said, "Merry Christmas." Thank you for the basketball goals Mam-ma and Grandaddy.
Gaga came on Tuesday to bring Granny home. She spent the night and went with us to take Hank to the doctor. Hank could not get his six month shots because his ears are not clear. This was our third attempt to get shots. He will be getting tubes in the next couple of weeks.
Gaga treated us to lunch at Cracker Barrel. It was really fun until we went to leave. Charlie decided that he wanted candy, and he was in no mood to be reasonable. I said no candy. Gaga came around the corner and offered to get Charlie some candy, and in the same moment, he laid on the floor holding his bag of peppermint sticks, kicked his legs, and cried, "I want candy." I gave Hank to Gaga, scooped Charlie up, pried the candy out of his hand, and took him to the car. We were all ready for a nap when we got home.
We did do a little work with the letter C this week, but I don't think it was too productive.
